BURNING IMAGES TO CDs
This page will help you to copy your holiday digital images to the Travel Journal DVD Starter Kit CD. You can either choose to use a Digital Photo Kiosk at your local chemist or department store –OR– choose to Do It Yourself CD Burning from the instructions below.
Using a Digital Photo Kiosk Using a Digital Photography Computer Kiosk is an easy solution to copying your digital images from your digital camera to a computer CD. Digital Kiosks are usually found in all department stores, some chemists and photography shops. NOTE: If you use this method you will not be able to arrange your images in either DAY or PLACE Folders.
If you need help copying your images from your camera or memory card to a CD you may want to use a Digital Photo Kiosk. Photo Express have a useful Photo Kiosk locator.

Do it Yourself - Sorting Images in FoldersStep1. Sorting your images into folders: The first thing you should do is arrange your images into individual day folders. This means that for each day of your holiday you have a folder named “Day 1,2,3,etc.”, and the digital photographs from each day are sorted into the corresponding folder.
You can also arrange your images into individual location folders. This alternative method is where you arrange the digital photographs into folders named after the locations you visited - such as places, cities, regions or countries.

Do it Yourself - CD BurningStep2. CD Burning: Burning your DVD Starter Kit CD is easy. Once all your images have been transferred to a desktop folder you should insert the Starter Kit CD and follow the 6 steps:
1. Place the Starter Kit readable/writable CD into the burner drive.2. Open the “Holiday Folder” that you need to burn with Windows Explorer. On the left side of the screen, you have the different folders from My Computer.3. Drag the file from the right side of the screen and drop it on the left side of the screen on the CDRW Drive. You can also right click on a file and use "send to" to copy to the CDRW drive.4. Close the window. A balloon will pop up in the notification window indicating that there are files waiting to be burned.5. Either click on the balloon or open My Computer, and right click the Burner drive and click Copy to CD.6. Click on Next .. and Finish.
