MEMBERSHIP
Polar Arts Membership enables Theme to continue to administer, market and develop the Polar Arts Program. This is done through the Visual Artist in Residence and Media Artist in Residence programs, at sea exhibitions onboard three vessels, online exhibitions, land based exhibitions and special events. The cost is AUD$200 per year (plus GST - for Australian members)
Benefits to Polar Arts Members include: -Representation on the first online Polar Arts Exhibition Space. • Your own online Artist Profile • The latest CV and Bio files as Word and PDF • A selection of your current works in progress • A selection of your works for sale • Your Recent Artist Residence Reports (if available) -Eligibility to the Polar Artist in Residence Programs This year to be eligible to apply you must be a paid member of the Theme Polar Arts Program. Therefore your application will not be considered unless you have paid the annual membership fee. -Representation on every Quark Expeditions Log DVD Every year Quark send their passengers an Expedition DVD log which includes a slideshow of the current Polar Arts Program artists. - Eligibility to participate in Polar Arts Program special events. This year includes the International Polar Year Hobart Exhibition and the Polar Arts Program Postcard Project. -Complimentary DVD Expedition Log and CD containing the last three years Artist Reports -Exhibitions in the Theme Tall Window Gallery
Membership Update
For all new members, if you pay now you will receive an annual Theme membership that runs from March 2009 to March 2010. All current members will soon receive an invoice detailing required adjustment fee to continue membership.
